Join the family

We do not discriminate. “For as many that believe, they have been given the power to become children of God.” Whoever you are, whatever you have come from, there is a place for you at The Potter’s Workshop — because every one of us here is a work-in-progress.

  1. Accept Jesus

Come to Him honestly — loving Him, and repenting of what has held you. This is where every membership truly begins.

  2. Believe in Jesus

Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and commit yourself to turning from sin toward the life He offers.

  3. Walk with Jesus

Membership is the walk, not the paperwork — growing in the word, in prayer and in the fellowship of believers, for a lifetime.

What Membership Means

More than a name on a register

Members of The Potter’s Workshop are able to:

  • Receive pastoral care and counselling from the pastorate
  • Be baptised, dedicate children, and hold weddings and funerals at the church
  • Serve in any of our ministries — children, youth, men, women, missions and outreach
  • Enrol in the Pastoral Institute for training and equipping
  • Access the welfare ministry in seasons of hardship
  • Take part in members’ gatherings, retreats and mission trips

Associate membership is available for those who worship with us regularly but hold membership elsewhere, or who live outside Accra.

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” Ephesians 2:19

Frequently Asked

Before you apply

Do I have to be a member to attend?

Not at all. Come as often as you like as a visitor. Membership is for those who want to put down roots and commit to the life of this local church.

Is there a fee?

No. Membership costs nothing. Giving is a matter between you and God, never a condition of belonging here.

What happens after I apply?

A member of the pastorate will contact you to arrange a short conversation, and to invite you to our membership class. It is unhurried and there is no pressure.

Can I join if I have not been baptised?

Yes — and we would be glad to talk with you about baptism. Select “I would like to be baptised” on the form and we will follow up.
