What We Do
The Potter’s Workshop exists to provide a ministry of the word of God through the planting of churches and the organisation of para-church ministries and institutions.
Training and equipping ministers, church workers and lay leaders in sound doctrine, pastoral care and the faithful handling of Scripture, so that those who feed the flock are themselves well fed.
Practical compassion for the poor, the widow and the orphan. We give food, clothing, school support and emergency relief, because the gospel we preach must also be the gospel we live.
A deliberate ministry to persons living with disability — ensuring access, dignity, discipleship and full participation in the life and service of the church rather than mere attendance.
Taking the gospel beyond our walls — through the planting of churches, community outreaches and evangelism, in compliance with the injunction to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
Sunday school and children’s church, where the youngest are taught the word at their own level, kept safe and well cared for, and shown from the very beginning that they belong here.
A place for teenagers and young adults to ask their hard questions honestly, build real friendships, and be discipled into a faith that will still hold when they leave home.
Men gathering to sharpen one another in the word and in prayer, and to take seriously the ordinary work of being faithful husbands, fathers, sons and workers.
Women meeting for study, prayer and practical support — carrying one another through the seasons of family, work and service, and raising the next generation in the faith.
Systematic teaching of the word, including series such as The 7 Habits of Strong Christians, so that disciples are properly tutored and brought up in the word of God.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19–20
Get Involved
Every believer has been given something to give. Whether it is teaching a class of children, helping carry relief to a family in need, driving the outreach van, running the sound desk or simply praying — the body needs every part working.
If you would like to join one of our ministries, come and speak to us after a Sunday service, or send us a message and we will get in touch.
